Dental Coverage

Bowling Green State University offers two available dental plans for full-time employees through Delta Dental. While the Enhanced Dental plan does have higher contributions, it also provide a higher level of benefit coverage. Dental coverage is effective the first of the month following your initial date of eligibility. Full-time employees may also newly elect or change their selected plan during any upcoming Open Enrollment period or qualified Life Event.

Covered members of Delta Dental do not receive ID cards. Use your BGSU ID number as your Delta Dental ID number for eligibility and claims processing.

Vision coverage

Contributions for September through December = 4/12 of the annual amount paid in 4 equal monthly payments for coverage September through December.

The dependent limiting age for eligible children is 26. Dependent children turning age 26 will be removed from coverage at the end of the month in which they turn 26.
