Graduate Student Conference on Population
The 10th annual BGSU/OSU Graduate Student Conference on Population is scheduled for Friday, October 28 in the Bowman-Thomson Student Union. The event is co-sponsored by the Center for Family & Demographic Research at BGSU and the Institute for Population Research at OSU. Summer Internship is Valuable for Undergraduate
Undergraduate student Nico Pinchak spent his summer with the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) in Ann Arbor, Michigan. “In addition to being paired with a highly supportive faculty member and experienced data processors,” he said, “we benefitted from the presence of each other: like-minded, eager, aspirational undergraduates interested in social research, graduate school, and research careers.” Read More
Manning Elected President of Population Association of America
Distinguished Professor of Sociology Wendy Manning has been elected to serve as President of the Population Association of America (PAA). Her term as President Elect commences on January 1, 2017, and she will be President in 2018.
