Meredith Gilbertson earned her PhD in Sociology with a concentration in family studies from Bowling Green State University in 2005. She teaches Principles of Sociology, Population and Society, The Family, Statistical Packages, and occasionally Introductory Statistics. She wants all of her students to understand how the tools and perspectives of sociology are relevant in their own lives.
