Artist's Statement

My Work follows a climate control member being forced into saving the world; one tree hug at a time. This game forces the player to address an exaggerated version of the very real climate change issue. VR is a wonderful medium for this since it heavily encourages the player to engage with the issue, even if it is in a very abstract way. This game touches on the theory that indifferent people are more likely to be swayed into supporting a cause they've participated/put effort into. This sarcastic take is meant to appeal to those many apathetic gamers who could care less about this global crisis. The more of them there are that care and are pro-active, the better out future will be.
