RedBird Full Motion Simulator

The Redbird flight simulator is designed to meet the students new challenges faced by modern flight training. The RedBird allows us to deliver unmatched training value for our students. It offers a training environment that is realistic and is approved by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration). The Redbird comes equipped with an innovative, 3-axis, electric motion platform. It also provides one-of-a-kind effective motion feedback for yaw, pitch and roll. The added bonus is the world-wide terrain database to support the 200 degree visuals experiencing the view from the cockpit before our students ever leave the ground.

FRASCA Simulator

Our FRASCA simulator is a prime environment for our students to put to use emergency procedures and instrument flight training. It also allows us to continue flight training if the weather is keeping us from flying the actual airplanes. BGSU Aviation currently owns one FRASCA simulator which is utilized for private pilot, instrument, and commercial flight training.
