Areas of Research/Artistic Focus 
Todd's primary research is in exploring typography in its myriad forms. His projects are often are combinations of font design and typography. His most recent experiments are typographic designs that combine three-dimensional sculptures, digital media and photography.

He has lectured on the history of typography at the Typo Conference in Berlin, Germany and at the Association Typographique Internationale Word Conference in Dublin, Ireland.
