Students may also choose up to 6 credit hours of electives outside FN with approval of advisor.
Electives are rotated and offered based on faculty availability and student interest.
Note: students completing thesis/project are encouraged to take EDFI 6410, Statistics in Education (or an acceptable substitute) as one elective.
Culminating Experience 4 credit hours
- FN 6990 Thesis (4 credit hours)
- FN 6900/10 Master's Project (4 credit hours)
- FN 6980 Comprehensive Exam (1 credit hour of FN 6980 + requires enrollment in 3 additional credit hours of FN course)
- FN 6960 Professional Portfolio in Food and Nutrition (limited to BGSU dietetic interns only) (4 credit hours)
This degree program is designed to be completed in 1.5 academic years. Taking courses out of sequence, academic issues, or other unforeseen circumstances may require additional semesters for completion.
