A. Yes, if you do not attend and complete coursework during the term for which you originally applied, you must submit a new application. If you have questions, please contact the BGSU Office of Admissions at 1-800-372-2478.

A. Yes, returning students must complete the online Application for Readmission for the term in which they wish to return and complete coursework at the University. The Application for Readmission is processed by the Office of Registration and Records at 419-3 72-8441.

A. No. Currently, there are only two degree completion programs (Bachelor of Liberal Studies and Bachelor of Science in Fire Administration) offered online through the College of Arts and Sciences. For information about other BGSU degrees available in the online format, please visit the Online and Blended Programs website or contact the Office of Non-Traditional and Military Student Services at 419-372-8136.  Other online degree options can be explored with BGSU ECampus at 419-372-3226.

A. Yes. You may take up to 27 semester hours in any one discipline within the College of Arts & Sciences. Previous students have held concentrations in the following areas: Human Behavior and Culture, Oral and Written Communication, Technical Writing, Cultural Understanding and Knowledge, General Science, Sociological Behavior and Crime and many, many more.

A. The hours taken in the Schmidthorst College of Business would be considered outside the College of Arts & Sciences and not count towards the Liberal Studies major. However, you are allowed to take 22 semester hours of courses of electives. Be sure to review your degree audit to determine if your elective hours have already been used.

A. Information regarding student fiscal responsibility can be found through the Office of the Bursar at 419-372-2815. Students are encouraged to calculate their estimated cost of attendance through the interactive tool on the Bursar website. Lastly, students are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (F AFSA) to determine if any financial aid is available.
