Profile:

Phil Beskid joins BGSU from a professional background in radio broadcasting and audio engineering. He has held various roles at major market radio stations including promotions, on-air, and production.

He has contributed several presentations at professional conferences including the Broadcast Educator’s Association, the College Media Association, and College Broadcasters, Inc.  His research interests include the use of convolution reverb in virtual reality and the relationship between content and audience in various forms of media.

At BGSU Phil is the faculty advisor for both student-operated radio stations, WBGU and Falcon Radio. Additionally, he teaches courses in audio and video production.
