BGSU VPN/GlobalProtect Certificate Renewal

BGSU VPN (GlobalProtect) maintenance 4/2 – certificate acknowledgment may be required

This evening, Apr. 2 at 10 p.m., Information Technology Services (ITS) will perform maintenance to the BGSU VPN/GlobalProtect. Users may be prompted to accept a new certificate on their device(s) when connecting to the VPN for the first time following this maintenance. Please confirm the certificate if prompted. 

If you experience issues after GlobalProtect is updated, try refreshing your connection by following these steps:

  1. Select the GlobalProtect icon (globe icon) on your device's toolbar (Mac) or taskbar/system tray (Windows).
  2. Select the hamburger menu (three lines) from the top right of the GlobalProtect window. 
  3. Select Refresh Connection.

If you still experience issues after refreshing your connection, please contact ITS.
