Dr. Stephanie Walls
Dr. Stephanie Walls is the Associate Dean for Academic & Student Affairs and a Professor of Political Science. She has been with BGSU Firelands since 2011. She strongly believes in the value of higher education and the access mission of BGSU Firelands. She is always excited to be a part of what BGSU Firelands does to educate the community both as a faculty member and as an administrator. She is a three-time nominee for the BGSU Firelands Distinguished Teacher Award and won the Distinguished Creative Scholar award in 2021. She was selected as a MAC Academic Leadership Program Fellow for the 2021-22 academic year.
Walls grew up in a politically engaged family and was always interested in discussing political ideas with classmates. She enjoys sailing and gardening with her husband of over two decades, David. Together, they have two teenagers, a daughter, and a son. They enjoy living in Huron and spend as much time on the water as they can.
