CCAMPIS

The Child Care Access Means Parents In School (CCAMPIS) program is a federal grant that provides low-income students who are parents (student parents) with financial assistance for child care.

What’s the benefit?

Lack of access to affordable, reliable, high quality child care is an obstacle to degree completion for low-income student parents. CCAMPIS funds are available to help students afford high quality child care by a nationally accredited provider and can be used with publicly-funded child care assistance.

Who is eligible?

CCAMPIS funds can be awarded to full-time or part-time students who have dependent children and are Pell eligible, as determined through FAFSA completion. Preference is given to undergraduate students working on their first degree. An application is required and if awarded, participants will have CCAMPIS program requirements to meet. There is a limited amount of funding with funds awarded on an annual basis. Graduate and international students may be eligible if there is enough funding.
