Summer Nursing Camp

The Bowling Green State University (BGSU) School of Nursing (SON) had the inaugural BGSU Nursing Camp during the summer of 2022. BGSU's Nursing Camp took place on June 27-29, 2022.

A total of 31 high school students (grades 9-12) attend along with many faculty, guest nurses, and nursing students. Students experienced AHA Heart Saver/CPR training, basic first aid care, hand hygiene/PPE, BG's anatomage table, a campus tour, exposure to campus life, a Q&A discussion opportunity with nursing professionals, a healthcare escape room, campus scavenger hunt, healthcare Jeopardy, and lots of fun!

The 2023 Summer Nursing Camp will be held June 12-15, 2023.
