Summer Nursing Camp

The Bowling Green State University (BGSU) School of Nursing (SON) had the inaugural BGSU Nursing Camp during the summer of 2022. This annual camp is non-residential and takes place over three days.

High school students (who will be entering grades 9-12 in the fall) attend along with many faculty, guest nurses, and nursing students. Students experienced AHA Heart Saver/CPR training, basic first aid care, hand hygiene/PPE, BG's anatomage table, a campus tour, exposure to campus life, a Q&A discussion opportunity with nursing professionals, a healthcare escape room, campus scavenger hunt, healthcare Jeopardy, and lots of fun!
