Elizabeth Neidecker Communication Disorders Graduate Scholarship

The Elizabeth Neidecker Communication Disorders Graduate Scholarship was established by the late Elizabeth Neidecker, Professor Emerita of Bowling Green State University. Professor Neidecker taught in the areas of speech pathology and audiology, and supervised student teachers. She was the author of School Programs in Speech-Language: Organization and Management. Prof. Neidecker established this award in order to provide support to a graduate student in speech-language pathology seeking a career in the schools.

 

Award Eligibility and Selection Criteria:

  1. The recipient shall be a second-year graduate student who is in the school-based track in Communication Disorders and has expressed an interest in working in the school setting after graduation. (Applicants should be students currently in their first year of graduate study.) 
  2. Preference will be given to students who show financial need. 
  3. The recipient shall have a grade point average equal to or greater than 3.00.
