Professional Biography/Profile

Passionate about shaping effective and inclusive elementary teachers, Dr. Trisha Prunty brings her expertise and commitment to the education field. With a focus on addressing disproportionality in special education, she contributes to research and practices that impact the educational landscape. Dr. Prunty's dedication extends beyond the classroom as she actively engages in conferences and initiatives promoting equity in Ohio schools. Outside of academia, she celebrates 40 years of marriage, cherishing family moments and indulging in interests such as reading, gardening, and travel.

Fieldwork/Internship Opportunities

Dr. Prunty actively incorporates field experience into all years of the Early Inclusive Education program. Students are placed in both general and special education classrooms spanning pre-kindergarten through Grade 5.
