Finance Scholarships Criteria
Bruce and Janet Misamore

Amount varies.  Rising junior or senior.  Must have completed or currently enrolled in FIN 3000.  Full Time student in CBA with a specialization in Finance.

Mary Jane Little Dorais Scholarship

Amount varies; incoming freshman or a rising sophomore, junior or senior enrolled full-time in the College with a specialization in Finance; continuing students must have minimum of 15 credit hours at BGSU; incoming freshman must meet current college scholarship requirements for high school GPA and ACT or SAT test scores; minimum overall GPA of 3.0

Finance Faculty Book Scholarship

Amount varies; rising junior or senior; must have completed or currently enrolled in FIN 3000; minimum overall GPA of 2.50

Geoffrey and Linda Radbill Scholarship

Amount varies; rising junior or senior; must be full- time student specializing in Finance, Financial Planning concentration preferred;  demonstrate leadership through involvement in extracurricular activities, on and off campus; community involvement and philanthropic volunteering activities; financial need; minimum overall GPA of 2.75; minimum Finance GPA of 3.2

Emery Gielow Scholarship

Amount varies; rising junior; interest in real estate career;
primary consideration will be on demonstrated financial need and classroom enthusiasm; minimum overall GPA of 2.50

Kenneth H. Harger Scholarship

Amount varies; rising junior or senior; preference given to student concentrating in Financial Planning,
specializing in finance; active in Financial Management Society; minimum overall GPA of 3.0

Key Bank Scholarship

Amount varies; preference given to student specializing in Finance, but could include a specialization in financial economics or economics; preference given to a student with an interest in banking; minimum overall GPA of 3.5

Thomas Pemberton Scholarship

Amount varies; must be specializing in Finance and be in good academic standing; must demonstrate financial need

Donald L. Speck Scholarship

Amount varies; full-time student in the College with a specialization in Finance; solid academic record and a strong potential for career success after graduation; active in Department and College activities, such as the FMS and in the University community

John & Inge Bowyer Annual Book Scholarship and The Louis & Adelyne Klein Annual Book Scholarship:

Amount varies; rising senior; full-time student in the College with a specialization in Finance; minimum overall GPA of 2.50

Darwin B. Close Scholarship

Amount varies; rising senior; strong interest in an insurance career; demonstrated record of service activity to the University and/or community; minimum overall GPA of 3.0

Avery Dennison Annual Scholarship

Amount varies; full-time student specializing in Finance; rising senior; demonstrated record of leadership through involvement in academic and extracurricular activities; minimum overall GPA of 3.0

William H. and Muriel A. Fichthorn Scholarship

Amount varies; rising senior; demonstrated record of service activity in the Financial Management Society and the University and/or community; minimum overall GPA of 3.0

J. Warren Hall Scholarship:

Amount varies; rising junior or senior; solid academic record and a commitment to a career in finance or related area; primary consideration will be on demonstrated activity in the Financial Management Society, University, and/or community
