BGSU Celebrates 306th Commencement Exercises

Bowling Green State University honored the academic achievements of more than 2,600 graduates from the Class of 2023 with Commencement exercises on Friday, April 28, and Saturday, April 29, in the Stroh Center.

In total, the Spring 2023 graduating class includes 2,604 candidates, of which 147 were presented associate degrees, 1,913 were presented bachelor's degrees, 531 with master's degrees and 36 with doctoral degrees. Of those, the Schmidthorst College of Business conferred 429 degrees at the Friday evening ceremony, awarding 331 students bachelor’s degrees, 80 Master of Business Administration degrees, 13 Master of Organizational Development degrees and 5 Doctorate in Organizational Development and Change degrees.

Commencement is a time to celebrate and recognize the achievements, hard work and determination of our students. "This year was especially meaningful as I complete my first full academic year as dean, I have had the opportunity to watch how our students have grown and developed as leaders," said Dr. Percival, dean of the Schmidthorst College of Business, “ I cannot wait to see what this amazing group of students, now alumni, will accomplish.”
