ITS Fall 2026 start of term freezes

Information Technology Services (ITS) will place a freeze on operating system upgrades and replacement device installation requests during the first two weeks of the fall semester (Aug. 17–28). This allows ITS to prioritize support for the start of the semester and new hire device setup. Any requests submitted during this time will be scheduled after Aug. 28, so please plan accordingly.

ITS will also place a freeze on system changes from Aug. 17–Sept. 2. During this time, no changes will be made to BGSU systems.
