Prospective Student Services

Information Webinar and Open House Experiences

The BGSU DPT program hosts free, monthly virtual prospective student webinar events from 6:30-7:30 p.m. EDT/EST. We share information about our 7-semester, accelerated, hybrid delivery and curriculum model, as well as admissions requirements, application procedures and program accreditation status. In-person open house experiences are also available several times throughout the year for prospective students to observe and experience a live lab immersion class. Participants in our open house experiences will also get to meet faculty and current students in the program.

Advising Appointments

Students who are completing high school or are entering their freshman year at Bowling Green State University (BGSU) should contact the central BGSU Academic Advising and Planning Office to connect with their assigned student support team.  Students enrolled in an undergraduate pre-physical therapy degree program at BGSU should additionally seek advice from the Office of Pre-Professional Programs.

BGSU alumni and undergraduate students close to graduation may additionally schedule advising appointments directly with DPT program faculty advisors through Navigate. To request an appointment, follow the instructions below:

  1. Log onto Navigate via MyBGSU
  2. Create a New Appointment
  3. Select "DPT Program" as Care Unit
  4. Select "BGSU Undergraduates" as Location
  5. Select "DPT Informational Session" as Service
  6. A list of available times will show up. Please select any time and proceed with completion of the appointment booking.
  7. You will be emailed a Zoom link after the advisor receives notification of the appointment.

Non-BGSU students who are close to graduation and non-BGSU students who have completed their baccalaureate degree or higher should contact the BGSU Doctor of Physical Therapy admissions team. All appointments at this time are done over the phone or via Zoom. It is helpful to bring a copy of all completed coursework to the initial advising meeting.

Meet with an Admissions Advisor

We will begin offering advising appointments for those candidates that were denied program admission this cycle after April 15. Instructions to set up an appointment will be provided in your denial notice.
