Fully Online and Hybrid Programs

In addition to the on-campus programs, the College of Health and Human Services offers several degrees that can be completed either fully online or hybrid. 

Undergraduate Degree Completion Programs

Allied Health: This online degree is designed for students who already hold an Associate’s Degree in an Allied Health field.

Didactic Program in Dietetics: This program is for those who already have a degree and are seeking to earn a Verification Statement from an accredited program or hold an NDTR credential and would like to complete a bachelor’s degree to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.

Medical Laboratory Science (MLT to MLS): The online medical laboratory science program is a degree completion program. It’s designed for medical laboratory technicians with an associate’s degree or equivalent who want to advance their career.

RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing: This program is for those individuals looking to expand their career options and build upon their knowledge, leadership and clinical judgment skills as an RN.

Graduate Degree Programs

Master of Science in Criminal Justice: This 30-credit hour, fully online graduate degree can be completed in five semesters. This nationally ranked program can help you advance your career and take on leadership roles in criminal justice agencies. 

Master of Food and Nutrition: The MFN is designed for those interested in the advanced study of food and nutrition who have a baccalaureate degree in food, nutrition or a related field.

Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Gerontology (MSIG) with a specialization in Long-Term Care (LTC): This program provides an interdisciplinary education in aging studies that prepares individuals to be administrators of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, home care, hospice and other home and community-based services.

Doctoral Programs - Hybrid 

Doctor of Physical Therapy: The DPT program integrates innovative technology that supports a two-year accelerated, hybrid program, allowing students to complete coursework online and participate in onsite lab immersion instruction. 

Other Programs

Distance Dietetic Internship: This program can be completed concurrently with a graduate program or after earning a graduate degree. It is for students seeking eligibiity for the registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) credentialing exam and who have verification statement from an accredited undergraduate program in nutrition and dietetics. 

Food and Nutrition Certificate:  This graduate certificate helps to enhance one's credentials and knowledge of food and nutrition that is applicable to many health care, business, professional and personal situations involving nutrition.
