- Admitted to a BGSU Grad program
- Sports Administration preferred
Qualifications/Preferred Skills:
Experience working or playing competitive soccer. Ability to multi-task and problem solve in a timely manner Video experience preferred.
Position Description:
The director of Operations serves as a key primary administrative role for the Men’s Soccer program. The main role of this position is to manage all off-field operations involving the players, coaches, and support staff. This position coordinates and oversees all Division 1 team logistics; travel, business, student-staff managers, performance video system. Creating an elite environment for all student-athletes, coaches, and support staff.
Core Responsibilities
- Team Logistics & Travel
- Plan and execute comprehensive travel logistics for all matches home and away. Coordinate charter buses, hotel blocks, and flights
- Manage food logistics for all team meals, pre/post-game nutrition and accurate distribution adhering to high athlete level performance standards
- Distribute daily training session plans, coordinating directly with support staff and university administrative staff
- Plan and execute comprehensive travel logistics for all matches home and away. Coordinate charter buses, hotel blocks, and flights
- Gameday & Performance Video
- Manage all video film recording, live tagging of matches and training sessions using Spiideo software
Organize video libraries and scouting materials - Coordinate game days as the operation liaison with stadium operations staff to manage stadium readiness, officials, and visiting team needs
- Drive fan engagement by collaborating with marketing team for promotions leading up to games and in-game experiences to build a better brand for our program Administration & Problem Solving
- Lead hiring process of new student managers; recruitment, interviewing, and the selection process for the program
- Train new student managers of daily responsibilities, match day protocols, equipment operations
- Delegate duties of student managers, create a manager schedule for training sessions, home matches, and other administrative tasks
- Primary off-field point of contact for student-athletes and support staff, solves daily issues, troubleshoot operational and logistical challenges
- Manage all video film recording, live tagging of matches and training sessions using Spiideo software
