FAQs

Qualified undergraduate students are offered admission to one or more master’s programs.

Your degree, major, GPA, other academic qualifiers and master's program criteria determine which programs are included in your Select Graduate Admissions offer. Check your BGSU email for an offer letter. If you meet the criteria for a program you are interested in, but did not receive an offer via email, reach out to selectadmit@bgsu.edu with your BGSU ID number to inquire about your eligibility for BGSU Select Graduate Admissions. If you have specific questions about the program(s) you are offered, contact the Graduate Program Coordinator. Consider your interests, career goals and finances when deciding your next steps.

To accept your admission offer through the Select Admission program, respond to your offer letter by the noted deadline, indicating the graduate program you wish to pursue. Once we receive your reply, you will receive a message with a link to officially take the next step in completing your graduate admission.

Tuition for master’s degree programs is different than undergraduate tuition. You can use the Graduate Calculator to provide an estimated cost of attendance by semester.

Many programs offer graduate assistantships, but availability varies. You will have the opportunity to indicate interest in a graduate assistantship on your application.
