Mary Lietaert

I’m a second-year student at Bowling Green State University, majoring in Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management with a minor in Marketing. I’m passionate about creating meaningful experiences for others whether through event planning, hospitality, or marketing and I’m excited to pursue a future career in hospitality sales and marketing, ideally with a hotel line.

Outside of academics, I enjoy coffee runs, thrifting, playing tennis, and volunteering with my church. I also love to travel and have been fortunate to visit two of the Seven Wonders of the World Chichén Itzá and the Colosseum which inspired my passion for global hospitality.

I joined the Schmidthorst College of Business Student Ambassadors to grow professionally, expand my network, and find a community of other BGSU students who share a passion for leadership and service. I’m excited to represent the college and help others make the most of their BGSU experience!
