Minimum Qualifications: Successful applications will have an earned MBA or a Master’s Degree in the area of instruction or in a related field is required with substantial professional experience (at least five years) or a doctoral degree with substantial professional experience or scholarly activities. JD or higher from an ABA approved law schools is required for Business Law.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Applicants in disciplines other than economics, business calculus, analytics, operations research will have a degree from an AACSB accredited Business School;
- Ten or more years of work experience in a related field, evidence of recent continuing education and/or professional certification in their field
- A record of teaching excellence; and/or
- Experience in teaching face to face, synchronous remote, and fully asynchronous online formats

BGSU policy requires finalists to complete a background investigation prior to receiving an offer of employment.
Accepted applicants must complete online training on the science of learning and effective teaching to become a qualified adjunct and will remain in the qualified adjunct pool for active consideration for part-time teaching positions until June 30, 2025; provided, however, that qualified adjuncts provide an updated CV, and authorize and pass a background investigation before receiving an offer of employment. Onboarding must be completed after acceptance of the offer.
