  • BGSU Students Take 1st and 2nd Place at Ball State Sales Competition Nov 14, 2019 1:15 PM Congratulations go to Josh Wolpert and Stephanie Stile who finished in first and second place, respectively, at the Ball State Sales Competition. A total of 24 students took part in the role play which involved selling the Hilti Fleet Management Solution.

  • Spaces in Maurer Center Facilitate ‘Collaborative Collisions’ Nov 14, 2019 8:14 AM With the opening of the Robert W. and Patricia A. Maurer Center in fall 2020, 28 spaces in the new business building have been specifically designed to lead to “collaborative collisions” between students as well as with faculty. These spaces will be used to encourage and facilitate student and faculty interactions on projects.

  • Prospective Students Gain Insight on Nationally Recognized Business Program through College of Business Day Nov 14, 2019 7:55 AM A record number of high school students and their families visited campus for College of Business Day. The morning started out with a welcome from Adrea Spoon, director of admissions. Dean of the College of Business, Raymond Braun, presented how BGSU’s business program goes beyond business as usual.

  • Winners of the Bowling Green State University Sales Competition Announced; Move on to Nationals Nov 12, 2019 2:31 PM Nearly 50 students competed for one of the top coveted spots in the BGSU Sales Competition. Coveted because the top two finishers advance to the National Collegiate Sales Competition where BGSU has a long tradition of excellence. The winners of the BGSU Sales Competition are business students Josh Wolpert, Alex Dargay, and Noah Schumacker.

  • Business ‘Hatched’ at BGSU Featured on National Morning Show Nov 12, 2019 2:30 PM BGSU graduate and former Hatchling, Elsa (Vogel) Vos ‘15, launched Pieces of Me, a company first conceptualized as a personalized clothing startup through The Hatch®. Since then, Pieces of Me has transitioned into a leading designer of meaningful jewelry and was featured on NBC’s show “TODAY with Hoda and Jenna” November 4.

  • Supply Chain Institute Hosts Networking Event and Dinner Meeting Nov 12, 2019 2:23 PM Supply chain students had several opportunities to connect to professionals in their field of study and also compete in a case competition. The Supply Chain Management Institute (SCMI) hosted a networking luncheon for 30 students and five employers.
