High school senior Bryce Harwood attended College of Business Day recently and experienced firsthand just how seriously the College takes this mission.

During the event, Harwood attended a Business Career Accelerator information session presented by director, Tom Siebenaler. The session was designed to highlight internships and career opportunities in the College. A whopping 88 percent of BGSU business students have jobs or are interviewing at graduation, and the average starting salary is more than $55,000.

Harwood approached Siebenaler after the event about his high school senior project. Harwood needed to identify a business executive to shadow for a week during May within the next few weeks.

Harwood was specifically looking for a sports team in the Cleveland area, and Siebenaler used his connections to find him a Cleveland Indians executive to shadow for the project.

Harwood is attending BGSU this fall. “All of the work you have done for me is much appreciated, and people like you make the College of Business at BGSU so great! I am really excited to attend this fall,” Harwood stated, thrilled with the opportunity created for him by Siebenaler.
