Case Competition Team Headed to Philippines for Final Round

The BGSU College of Business case competition team was the sole U.S. team invited to compete in the final round of the International Institute for Business Development (IIBD) in late November. The team of Luke Zemanek, Brian Pavilonis, Rosanna Baskin, and Lily Szymanski are traveling to Ateneo de Manila University in Philippines. This is the third time, the second consecutive year, the BGSU case competition team has been selected for the final round. BGSU’s team is also the only U.S. representatives to compete in the final round of IIBD.

Our students will compete against teams from Thailand, The Philippines, Indonesia, and Hong Kong.

The BGSU students are coached by Dr. Janet Hartley, management professor and director of the Supply Chain Management Institute, and Dr. Mark Bennion, associate professor of marketing.

We will provide an update following the final round competition.
