MBA Programs Receive Two National Recognitions for Excellence

BGSU’s College of Business is proud to announce two recent recognitions of its MBA programs that continue to validate the high quality education that students receive here. In the first-ever Best for Vets: Business Schools 2013, the College of Business is ranked #10 in the country among business schools. Results of the rankings were released by Military Times, a Gannett Company publication.

According to the magazine, the rankings were based on a rigorous survey and review of such areas as academic support, student services, campus culture, academic success, and selectivity.

In addition to being an outstanding business school for veterans, the BGSU College of Business has again been listed among the "Best Graduate Schools" in the country by U.S. News and World Report. This 2014 publication also ranked BGSU as a university at #184 in the nation.

David Chatfield, MBA director of Graduate & Executive Programs in Business, stated his excitement about both of these honors. "The College of Business at BGSU is delighted to be recognized as one of the top 10 business schools in America by Best for Vets. Our MBA programs offer daytime, evening and weekend formats to match up with very busy career professionals in Northwest Ohio. A number of our currently enrolled MBA students are military veterans. We are especially pleased that they chose BGSU as their preferred resource for executive education."

He continues, "The Best for Vets recognition was received on the same day that the U.S. News and World Report’s Best Grad School publication was released. U.S. News has again recognized BGSU`s MBA Programs as among the best in the U.S. This is a wonderful compliment to the faculty of the College of Business and to the quality of the MBA experience at BGSU."
