BGSU Multifactor Authentication Changes

BGSU is transitioning to a new Multifactor Authentication (MFA) service. All faculty must be enrolled by Sept. 21, 2026.

Schedule a Hands-On Support Session

ITS offers Hands-On Support sessions for a variety of device issues, including wireless troubleshooting, device repair and more.

Cybersecurity threats are on the rise!

BGSU is implementing more frequent security updates, patching, and other proactive measures to better protect university systems and data.

Gently Used Device Requests

Departments can request gently used devices from ITS for adjunct faculty and GAs to use for University business (subject to availability). 

Beware of Phishing Scams

Beware of phishing emails/scams, including “smishing” (text message phishing attempts). If you receive an email that is out of place, littered with mistakes or seems suspicious, report it to ITS using our fraudulent email reporting process.

ITS Start of Term Freezes

ITS is freezing OS upgrades, replacement device installations, and production system changes during the first weeks of the fall semester.

Connect to VPN Regularly

If you will be off campus for an extended period, be sure to connect your university device to the VPN monthly to receive important updates.
