Part-time Instructors (Adjuncts)
Details: The Department of Sociology at Bowling Green State University seeks applications for possible part-time adjunct teaching positions for the Academic Year 2026-2027. Successful applicants will teach undergraduate courses in Sociology, which includes Principles of Sociology and upper division classes as needed, such as Social Psychology, Alcohol, Drugs, & Society, Deviance & Social Control, Family, Wealth, Power & Inequality, and Criminology
Qualifications: MA in Sociology or related field is required; PhD strongly preferred.
Application: Applicants should submit a letter of interest, current curriculum vitae, evidence of teaching effectiveness, two current (no more than a year old), original letters of reference, and official transcripts indicating highest degree. Successful applicants will be required to authorize and pass a background check as a condition of employment.
