Grab your pillow and help break a world record

BOWLING GREEN, O.—Bowling Green State University students are attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the world’s “largest pillow fight.” The current record, set by the University of Albany in April 2005, stands at 3,648 people.

Students, faculty, staff and the Bowling Green community are invited to “B.Y.O.P.” (bring your own pillows) and take part in the pillow fight, which will be held Wednesday (April 23) at the intramural fields next to the BGSU Ice Arena.

Participants are asked to check in at 4 p.m. and sign a liability form. The pillow fight is to begin at
5 p.m. Those under 18 years of age must bring a parent to sign the liability form.

Organizers say the pillow fight is intended to help BGSU students relieve stress before final exams. They also will be raising money for local and national charitable organizations by raffling donated items.

The University Activities Organization, Sigma Epsilon fraternity and Game Game Night are hosting the event.
