  • 52 BGSU students lend a hand to Mobile, Ala. Dec 1, 2005 2:16 PM Fifty-two Bowling Green State University students, along with four staff members, will put the spirit of the season into action in Mobile, Ala. Rather than heading home after final exams, the BGSU students will board a bus to give several days of their holiday break to help Mobile residents still recovering from Hurricane Katrina.

  • Join send-off for Olympic hopeful Alissa Czisny Dec 1, 2005 2:16 PM A community-wide send-off celebration will be held at the Bowling Green State University Ice Arena on Dec. 21 to honor figure skater and Olympic hopeful Alissa Czisny. A native of Bowling Green and a sophomore at BGSU, Czisny is competing at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships Jan. 12-14 in St. Louis, Mo., in hopes of qualifying for the 2006 U.S. Olympic team.
