Submit Your Paper for Online Feedback
Get written feedback from a Writing Hub tutor by submitting your draft online. This free service is available to all BGSU students, no matter your major or writing level.
Important: Submitting your paper automatically creates an “Online Appointment” in Navigate.
You do not need to attend this appointment.
Please do not cancel it, as canceling may delay feedback on your paper.
Submission Checklist
- Upload your paper using a Word doc or PDF or paste in the text
- Check file access and sharing permissions
- Include assignment instructions (if available)
- Do not cancel your Navigate appointment
- Submit during business hours (Mon–Fri)
What to Expect
Availability
Online submissions are reviewed during normal university business hours. Papers are not reviewed on weekends, holidays, or during university breaks.
Feedback Timeline
Most students receive feedback within 48 hours.
Papers submitted on Fridays may not be reviewed until the following Monday.
Paper Length Guidelines
For papers longer than 6–8 pages, we recommend booking an in-person appointment for more detailed support.
Longer papers:
- Often require multiple submissions
- May take up to 72 hours for full feedback

By submitting your paper, you consent to its use for internal training and educational purposes within The Writing Center and Learning Commons.
We will:
- Never publish your work without permission
- Never share personal information
- Protect your privacy at all times
