Practice Experience
Tasha is a firm believer in the use of a cultural humility lens to approach every aspect of her life. She has been a social worker for 23 years and has had the pleasure of working and learning in the following specializations: Renal Social Work, Inpatient Psychiatric Therapy, Intensive Outpatient Group Facilitation; School-Based Therapy, Domestic Violence Group Facilitation, In-Home Intensive Therapy with Children in Therapeutic Foster Care, In-Home Medical Social Work, Continuing Education Workshop creator and facilitator, and she currently provides psychotherapy to chronically mentally ill individuals across the life span. She teaches courses focused on social work practice in both the BSSW and MSW programs.
