Sydney Renner, MSW, LISW-S has practiced as a licensed social worker for 10 years in the state of Ohio. She has held roles in case management, discharge planning, crisis intervention, intake and diagnostic assessment, medical case management, and clinical therapy working within community behavioral health and outpatient hospital settings. They previously taught undergraduate courses focused on addiction basics, theory, and ethics for 6.5 years at the University of Findlay. Sydney teaches courses in the bachelor’s and graduate social work programs.

Areas of Focus: LGBTQIA+ community, disability justice, neurodiversity, accessibility, alternative relationship styles, behavioral health, trauma-informed and somatic-focused intervention.

Personal Interests: Reading, being in nature, and glass enameling
