On-campus program:
Choice of completing a specialization (forensic investigation or victims and offenders) is only available to on-campus students. Students are not required to complete a specialization. Online program: Online students complete the required courses and elective courses made available in our part-time online program.

Capstone or Culminating Experience
□ Plan I – Requires the writing and defense of a thesis.
CRJU 6990: Thesis research (3 credit hours required)
□ Plan II – Requires completing a portfolio that is formally submitted in your final semester of study.
Students can satisfy the capstone or culminating experience requirement by completing a thesis (Plan I) or portfolio (Plan II). The default assumption is that a student will complete a portfolio (Plan II) to satisfy this degree requirement.
