About:

Dr. Jackie Keen is passionate about improving outcomes for justice-involved individuals through education, evidence-based rehabilitation, and meaningful opportunities for change. Her work bridges teaching, research, and practice, with a particular focus on prison education, gender-responsive and trauma-informed approaches, and strengthening correctional and reentry practices that support successful reintegration and long-term success. Her greatest joy at BGSU is seeing students graduate and land their dream jobs within- and around the criminal justice system.
