Bio

Steve Snyder serves as the Director of Events for the Huntington Center and Glass City Center in Toledo, Ohio, where he oversees the planning and execution of major events and community programming. Before transitioning into event management in 2024, Steve dedicated more than 22 years to the United States Secret Service, retiring as a Senior Special Agent.

During his federal career, Steve led the U.S. Secret Service Cyber Fraud Task Force in Toledo, managing a team of 17 law enforcement officers and contributing to more than 100 state and federal convictions. He also served as Acting Agent in Charge on four separate occasions and was assigned to the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force from 2018 to 2024. Earlier in his career, Steve served on the William J. Clinton Protective Detail, providing protective security for the former president during domestic and international travel. His investigative experience included financial crimes, electronic crimes, crimes against children, counterfeit currency, and presidential threat investigations.

Prior to joining the Secret Service, Steve was an elementary school teacher with Perrysburg Schools, where he advised student leadership organizations and served on the district's contract negotiation team. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to community service, leading large-scale events including the South of the Border Festival and the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life in Wood County.
