Early Decision Admission

Are you passionate about helping people? Are you positive a career in sonography is for you? Are you a high achieving, scientifically-minded student? Then apply now for Early Decision in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Early Decision provides highly qualified students the advantage and assurance of being offered early admission into the DMS program.

Deadline for early decision is December 1.  Students must have a completed DMS application before the deadline for consideration. Students accepted for early admission are guaranteed admission, provided they are accepted to BGSU Firelands, maintain the GPA requirement, complete prerequisites, and meet all conditions of acceptance.

High School Students:

• Current good standing at high school
• 3.5 minimum high school GPA accumulative
• Completion of an Algebra II or higher math with a B or higher
• Completion of 2 science courses, preferably an anatomy and physiology, with a B or higher
• An ACT composite score of 22 or higher
• Completed application

BGSU or Transfer College Students:

• 3.5 GPA  accumulative or higher with at least 12 credits completed
• At least 3 prerequisite courses completed
• Completed application

Upon application evaluation applicants may be granted an interview. Program selection will then be determined. If you are not selected for early admission, you will be considered for the open admission to the program.
