Veera Patel

Hi everyone! My name is Veera Patel, and I am a sophomore in the Schmidthorst College of Business majoring in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting and minor in Psychology. On campus I am honored to be a Thompson Scholar and an active member of Beta Alpha Psi, an accounting organization.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with friends, talking walks, visiting the dog shelter and shopping. A few fun facts about me are, I've traveled outside the country four times, I have played competitive soccer and grew up in Oregon. 

Looking ahead, my goal after graduation is to pursue my CPA license and establish a career in accounting. During my time in the Schmidthorst College of Business I am focused on building strong networks and lasting connections that will support both my personal and career growth.

The Schmidthrost College of Business has already given me opportunities to learn from peers, faculty and organizations, and I look forward to continuing to grow throughout my college experience.
