Katie Schmitz

I am currently a third-year, senior with a double specialization in Marketing and International Business. In addition to being a Student Ambassador, I am the President for the American Marketing Association, an Honors Ambassador, and an employee of the Schmidthorst College of Business and Office of Admissions.

During my free time, I enjoy watching sports, playing video games, and utilizing both social media and digital platforms in a variety of ways. I also grew up as a military child, so I am always ready to adapt to change.

After graduation, I hope to work for a professional sports team doing social media marketing or pursuing a career at the collegiate level through admissions or communications.

The Schmidthorst College of Business has become a place that I can easily call my second home. The first day I walked into the building and met a current marketing student, I knew that this would be the place where my excitement for business would flourish. With the number of support systems, resources, and networking BGSU has to offer, any dream you have can become a reality.
