Tessa Kirchner

Hello! My name is Tessa Kirchner, and I grew up right here in Bowling Green, which has given me a unique perspective on choosing BGSU as my college home. I am currently a first-year student in the Schmidthorst College of Business pursuing a specialization in Marketing with a minor in Spanish. Studying business has allowed me to explore how creativity, communication, and strategy intersect, while my Spanish minor reflects my interest in global connection and cultural understanding.

On campus, I am involved in Student Ambassadors, the professional business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi, and the Global Management and Leadership Society, where I continue to develop leadership skills and build meaningful connections with other motivated students. Outside of academics, I enjoy staying involved in unique and hands-on ways, including participating in the Scuba Club, Beekeeping Club, and stepping outside my comfort zone by joining the Women’s Club Flag Football team this year.

Being involved across such a wide range of organizations has helped me grow more confident, adaptable, and open to new experiences. As a BGSU student, I value community, curiosity, and personal growth, and I am excited to continue shaping my path within the Schmidthorst College of Business while representing a university that has always felt like home.
