Two business professors have accepted papers in top tier journals

Congratulations to Dr. Deborah A. O’Neil, associate professor in the Department of Management, and Dr. Ibrahim Capar, assistant professor in the Department of Applied Statistics and Operations Research. Both professors have papers accepted at an ABS top tier journal (rank 4). The ABS list is the Gold Standard that many universities use.

Dr. O’Neil’s article is entitled “How perceived riskiness influences the selection of women and men as senior leaders,” and it is authored by Chantal Van Esch, Margaret M. Hopkins, Deborah A. O'Neil & Diana Bilimoria. The article was accepted by the journal Human Resource Management.

Dr. Capar’s article is entitled “Attractive Orienteering Problem with Proximity and Time Interactions,” and it will appear in European Journal of Operational Research. Dr. Capar collaborated in this research with Dr. Nickolas K. Freeman and Dr. Burcu B. Keskin from the University of Alabama.
