Professor Eboch Earns the Excellence in Teaching Award and Marie Hodge Advising Award

The College of Business Leadership Council created Faculty Excellence Awards to recognize outstanding faculty accomplishments in teaching, engaging with industry to provide experiential learning, and using technology to improve learning outcomes. The award winners are chosen by the Nominating and Governance Committee of the Leadership Council. Ms. Karen Eboch, senior lecturer, Department of Management, was selected for the Excellence in Teaching Award. The committee was impressed by her setting and management of student expectations, flipping of classes to increase student engagement, peer to peer learning, and national recognition of her work at the 2015 Decision Science Institute (DSI) conference.

In addition, Eboch was awarded the Marie Hodge Advising Award for demonstrating excellence in advising undergraduate students through her attitude, accessibility, knowledge of advising, and commitment to students and/or advising student organizations.
