Department of Management Carnival Day

The management department welcomed students to campus with an exciting carnival event on Aug. 30. Open to the College of Business, students participated in carnival-themed games including a bean bag toss, a hammer swing and a potato sack race. Students also enjoyed popcorn, cotton candy and more carnival cuisine.

This event provided students the opportunity to learn more about the management department. Most important, students had the chance to interact with management faculty and staff outside of the classroom. Many management professors administered carnival games to students; some even joined the fun.

More than 200 students attended, and one lucky student even won a $50 gift card raffle. All students were able to choose from a Department of Management t-shirt or drawstring backpack to keep. The department looks forward to hosting similar events in the future.
