U.S. News ranks BGSU’s online criminal justice master's program No. 8

The 2017 U.S. News & World Report Best Online Programs rankings are out and three of Bowling Green State University’s programs remain nationally ranked.

BGSU’s online criminal justice master's program is ranked 8th, up two spots from 2016.

Through its eCampus, BGSU offers eight-week courses year-round with six different start dates. Even while taking classes part-time, a Master of Science in Criminal Justice can be obtained in less than two years by taking the 11 required courses.

“This ranking is evidence that our efforts to help students advance their careers is working,” said Mary Ellen Mazey, Ph.D., president of BGSU. “Our world-class faculty and staff, accessible online sessions and convenient start dates ensure that students can fit life-changing studies into their busy lives.”

In additional 2017 rankings, BGSU is ranked 101st on the Best Online Education Programs list and 126th on the Best Online Bachelor’s Programs list.

U.S. News & World Report ranking evaluate degree-granting online programs and regionally accredited institutions to compile these rankings. More than 1,300 online degree programs were assessed to compile this year’s rankings.
