Fall Events Engage Students, Faculty, Staff and Alumni

The academic year kicked off with a series of exciting events hosted by the College of Business and the Dean. Students, faculty and staff enjoyed the Dean’s Picnic on the Green with hot dogs and hamburgers while participating in outdoor games in a festive atmosphere.

Students discovered the benefits of joining a student business organization by attending the CBA Student Organization Fair in the David J. Joseph Student Hub.  They talked to leaders of more than a dozen organizations and discussed the opportunities to grow professionally and personally by getting involved.

The best and brightest students were honored at the College of Business Honors and Awards Program. Thanks to the generosity of donors, the College was able to provide more than $300,000 in scholarships to assist students in completing their college education. Donors of these scholarships were also recognized and applauded for their support of our students.

Students attended their class dinners on four separate evenings.  Each dinner presented a different professional development topic that included career information, dining etiquette, networking, and preparation for graduation.

Over the academic year, the College has a large number of events to engage our students, alumni, the business community, faculty, and staff. Please download the schedule of events to your smart phone or computer by clicking here.
