4. Meet advisor and prepare schedule

Meet advisor and prepare schedule

You will be able to start reviewing class options and building your schedule about a month prior to registration opening. We recommend you do this before meeting with your academic advisor and at the latest, prior to your registration day.

Researching classes ahead of time will help you think of questions for your advisor and can help speed up your registration process when the system opens for you.

We offer a variety of tools to help you research classes. How do you decide which to use? It depends on you!

New transfer students – You are required to meet with your academic advisor before registering your first semester. You will see a hold on your account and be blocked from registering until you meet with your advisor.

Continuing students – We highly recommend you reach out to your academic advisor or assigned faculty member before scheduling classes. It is not required. Your advisor can answer questions and make sure you’re on track for graduation.
