Tillman Military Scholars

The Tillman Military Scholars program supports active and veteran service members who are completing a degree. Applicants must be a full-time student at a U.S.-based accredited institution and be a veteran or active duty military service member or spouse of an active duty or veteran service member. Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship

The Fellowship provides funding for the senior year of college and first year of graduate study for students who are in academic programs relevant to international affairs, political and economic analysis, administration, management, and science policy. Thaddeus Colson and Isabelle Saalwaechter Fitzpatrick Memorial Scholarship

The scholarship fund provides awards up to $5,000 to female students who are residents of Kentucky majoring in environmentally related programs at public universities in Kentucky. Visit the website for more information.

Teach for China

Teach for China participants commit two years to teaching a full course load of core subjects, that may include English, math, and science, in collaboration with local teachers. Benefits include a stipend, and living accommodations. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree before the start of the program and speak fluent English. Teach for America (TFA)

TFA is a national corps of recent college graduates who commit to two years to teach in public schools. Corps members receive full salary, benefits, training, and scholarship opportunities. Teach and Learn in Korea (TaLK) Program

The "TaLK" Program offers participants to choose a six-month or one-year commitment to teach English in rural areas of Korea. Benefits include accommodations, round-trip flight, and cultural field trips. Students must be a U.S. Citizen or citizen of one of the seven major English-speaking countries in order to apply. Stowers Scholars Program

The Stowers Summer Scholars Program provides a laboratory experience for students to work on an independent research project under the direction of a principal investigator. Soros Fellowships for New Americans

The Soros Fellowships provide funding for tuition and living expenses for graduate programs for permanent residents or naturalized citizens. Applicants must be a resident alien (green card holder), naturalized U.S. citizen, or child of two parents who are both naturalized citizens. Visit the website for more information.

SMART Scholarship

The SMART Scholarship Program is for students pursuing a degree in STEM disciplines to receive a full scholarship and be employed with the Department of Defense upon graduation.
