When using these office-specific records retention schedules, be sure to check the date the schedule was last revised. If it is out-of-date (created more than 5 years ago), contact the Records Manager before using the schedule to make sure the retention periods listed on it are still accurate and to discuss the preparation of a new schedule.  You can also check the General Records Retention Schedule to see if record series are covered in that schedule, rather than needing an office-specific schedule.
